Region 4 is pleased to again offer a trail riding experience at the Silver Lake Resort.  If you enjoy mountain riding and camping with your horse, then come to Plasse’s Resort at Silver Lake and reminisce with friends old and new.    There will be daily trail rides from base camp.  Red Oak BBQ Co. will be doing the catering.  A couple evenings will have an auction & possibly a raffle of donated items.   Specialty drink and Hor’devoures will be served each evening.     The resort bar and restaurant will be open Friday thru Sunday.  The ride will have a bar available each evening starting Sunday night.

NO DOGS will be allowed in camp.   Early arrival for camping is ok.  There are sites inside the meadow behind the log separating resort campsites & meadow.  They will also have water connections.  The meadow has no trees and is best for corrals.

 Note:

If you want to arrive before August 20th, please be sure to coordinate sites & dates with me before you contact the resort to reserve dates so that you won’t have to move as numbered resort sites have already been reserved.

For reservations or information call Judy Meeks (209-532-5858) or email to: sonorajudy@yahoo.com

It is advisable that horses be shod and in condition.  Please give horses a chance to acclimate, as colic is the most noticeable condition during early days of ride.   Please bring your own hay to feed.  There are Veterinary offices in the Minden/Gardnerville area and you will have to trailer horses there if there are problems.
