Born and reared on a farm in the Catskill Mountains of new York, I learned to love the outdoors and animals. 

Equally versatile in oil, watercolor, pastel and woodcarving, much of my inspiration comes from my love of nature.

Nature has such a wonder that Michelle always finds it a challenge.Pastels seemed  to be a powerful way that she could express her work.
