Something about me:
I live with my husband Dennis and step son Michael and
daughter Ashley. I work at a place called Tavis Corporation that makes
parts for the U.S. government, and the space administration.
I am also going to college to finish my B.A. to obtain my teaching
credential. I was a teaching assistant for the elementary level and plan
on making this my field.
Michael Ashley
Michael is in the eighth grade and goes to Mariposa Middle
school and enjoys roller blading and computers. Ashely is your typical
eight year old who loves having fun and her teachers at Dos Palos elementary
school.
This is Dennis
and I on the day we were married in South Lake Tahoe. It was a great day
with all our closest friends in attendance. We lived together for three
years and and have been married for one year on May 11, 1997.
Things that bother me:
Rudeness, people who never do what
they say, abuse of every kind, especially child abuse. Spousal abuse is
also high on my list. I came out of a abusive slave relationship. He was
the master and I was the slave. You know the kind......no matter what you
did it wasn't fast enough or good enough. It only took a few years but
I got out. I believed all men were that way.....until I met Dennis. He
showed me what love and kindness was, and I learned that a person ( i can't
use "man" here ) that abuses or wants to control another, does so because
of a weakness in themselves.
Other things are people who talk behind your back, steal, stop
signs in the middle of no where, speed laws when I am in a hurry and getting
up early in the morning.
Things I like:
My friends, My home in the mountains, my life in general. I
like quiet moments with my husband. I like that everynight before going
to sleep we talk about what happened during our day. I like watching our
children grow up and note the changes in them each year. Though I like
watching them grow, it's sad to think, one day they will be grown.....
