WELCOME TO WATCHMAN ON THE WALL

We are so thankful that you have committed to join the adventure in standing watch for our church as an intercessor.

We, the watchmen, will be providing continuous intercession on behalf of the people. Keep in mind the two-fold purpose of the Watchman Ministry: (1) to remind the Lord of His promise and covenant with His people, asking for His protection for their lives and ministry, and (2) to remind the people of the Lord's presence and of His provision and protection. Constant intercession in our midst will encourage those who are going through difficult times, because they will know that the watchmen are being faithful to make prayerful petitions on behalf of the people.

The purpose of this ministry is to encourage you as you pray for the people and programs of Sierra Vista. We hope to keep you updated on events, meetings, and important happenings at the church throughout each month, so that you may pray specifically. In turn, you will then see many direct answers to your prayers. The monthly Prayer Calendar, weekly Praise and Prayer Requests, the internet prayer request site, the phone prayer line, and the people and ministries listed in this booklet are basic sources of prayer needs in our congregation. Further allow the Holy Spirit to impress upon your heart His desire for Our Church through prayer on any given watch. He knows exactly what our needs are before we ask.

Please continue to pray for others, like yourself, to join us on the Wall. May your quiet time with our Lord be such a blessing that you experience Him more closely on a day-to-day basis.
