PLEASE READ BELOW

THE LOOKOUT NOW HAS AN ALARM SYSTEM INSTALLED WHICH WILL NEED TO BE TURNED OFF IN THE MORNING AND BACK ON IN THE EVENING WHEN YOU LEAVE. THE ACCESS CODE WILL BE PROVIDED WHEN LOOKOUT SEASON COMMENCES.

VOLUNTEER STAFFING WILL BEGIN ON MAY 18, 2008 AT 9:00AM. PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY YOU WILL COVER, IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES LET ME KNOW ASAP SO I CAN GET REPLACEMENT COVERAGE.

The volunteer orentation and training meeting will be held at the USFS Office in North Fork on Saturday May 10, 2008 at 10:00AM. There were 20 persons attending the meeting with 3 new volunteers for the 2008 fire season. There is work being done on the tower at this time and if you would be interested in helping during the day (Monday - Friday) contact me and I will give you the information. The calendar is also open for scheduling also. If you wish to help train new personnel please let me know.

The following persons will train if you need training, Camp, Gorham, Guldstrand, Johnson, Selb, Vorous. Please check the calendar and select a date and let me know so arangments may be made for the training.

"Also Availiable" indicates the willingness of the scheduled lookout to give up the day so others may have a chance to staff the tower.
