Goat Mountain is a pre 1915 lookout. The lookout is located at map reference T7S, R22E, S34. The 1915 cabin building blew down in winter 1915-16. There is no record of use untill 1934. In fall 1935, winds shifted tower, and it had to be reconstructed, though, it appears to be the same cab. Pacific Coast Steel tower. The tower was reconstructed in 1934 and was shifted by winds in 1935. The tower had to be reconstructed again, although the cab seems to be the same 1934 cab. The tower is a 20', H-B Steel L-4 Hip-2 built by Pacific Coast Steel Tower.
