Reflecting Pond CLICK HERE to view portfollio  Mina M. Pratt-SWA.Multi-Media Artist A new arrival to the Sierra, from the SF Bay area, Mina brings a sense of adventure to her paintings. A deep love of historical subjects follows her varied painting styles. This is enhanced by her travels with her husband to Japan, England, the South Pacific, Mexico and Germany. After having received her teaching credentials with graduate courses from various universities, Mina then taught 23 years on the Jr. High and High School level. She ended her career as head of the art department at Half Moon Bay High School. She was then persuaded to supervise teachers for a short time on the university level. Classes from Joseph Mugniani {Impressionism}, Bob Gerbracht {portrait and figure painting using pastel and oil},and Jackie Kirk{watercolor techniques}, completed her decision to retire and to paint.
