Recorded in January, 2007 live at the historic Ashkenaz in
Berkeley, CA -- what a thrill for me to realize the dream of singing
with an authentic Deco Era style orchestra! It was a blast!

Description
Including an atonal tango, a fantasy on Latvian folk-songs, a
meditation with electric guitar, a serenade for string quartet, and a
fascinating, mind-bogglingly silly set of computer variations on Paganinni's
24th Caprice, this is Tom Bopp as you've never heard him. All
the music is realized on a Kurzwiel electronic keyboard, with a
musical palate ranging from orchestral to synthesized. Excellent
sound, heartfelt and thoughtful music for the adventurous ear.

You can think of these as "scores without
films." This CD compiles the best of my own musical works
since they released me from the UCLA music department (with a B.A. in
theory and composition). I'm making these discs to order out of
my own studio.

mint condition copies of this 1948 printing of
"The Bridge By Yosemite Falls" (recorded by
Dick Jurgens' orchestra on my "Vintage Songs
album) were found in the composer's attic, signed
and numbered, suitable for framing, even more so for
playing!
