6/19/2013 – Important Notice
Dear STI Subscriber:
We would like to inform you of two changes to your service that may impact you.
Websites: All free websites at “www.sierratel.com/sitename” will be moved to a new web address at “members.sti.net/sitename”. Your current web address will be forwarded to your new web address for one year (ending July 1, 2014). This will allow you time to notify your friends and family, as well as change information on business cards, letterhead, and other advertising media. This change does not apply to domains that are hosted with us (for example, www.yourbusinessname.com).
Email: All STI subscribers should already be using the sti.net domain in their email address. If you are still using the old sierratel.com domain, please note that it will cease working on July 1, 2014. To remedy this problem, simply change your “reply to” address in your email settings. For example, janedoe@sierratel.com should be changed to janedoe@sti.net. We will forward all email destined for the sierratel.com domain to the sti.net domain for one year (ending July 1, 2014). This will allow you time to notify your friends and family, as well as change information on business cards, letterhead, and other advertising media. This change does not apply to businesses who have domains hosted with us (for example, yourname@yourbusinessname.com).

2/28/2013 – Unused STI Email Addresses
If you have not logged into your STI email address within the past four months, it will be marked for deactivation (per the STI Terms). If you would like to keep your email address, you must log into it today, and periodically after that to keep it active. If you do not remember your password, please contact Technical Support for assistance.
If you no longer have any use for your STI email address, simply ignore this notice and it will be deactivated (it will not be available for use by anyone, thereby eliminating the risk of a new user receiving your email).

1/7/2013 – Update to STI Terms
Section 3.1, Sub-section II, paragraphs a,b, and c of the STI Terms changed to the following:
Each Billing Method has unique requirements, and is subject to the possibility of non-payment disconnections according to their own rules as follows:

Added to the Email section (Section 5) of STI terms.
VII. Customer email accounts that have not been accessed for 120 days will be purged from the Company mail server. Customer is responsible for checking email periodically to prevent Customer email account(s) from being deleted.
VIII. Due to the nature of Internet mail, Company can not restore lost mail items. Customer is responsible for downloading and/or saving important mail to their local client.
1/2/2013 – Credit Card Customer Email
The following email was sent to credit card customers on Dec 21, 2012.
Our records indicate that you are currently enrolled in automatic credit card billing through Sierra Tel Internet. Due to a change in our billing service provider you may notice a slight difference in how your Internet charges appear on your credit card statement. This change will not affect your current Internet service or pricing, and you are not required to do anything at this time.
Along with a visual change to your statement, we are now able to provide you with the following additional payment methods:
  1. Visit our website at www.sierratel.com to make an online electronic payment.
