Important Information About Programming Changes!
We are sorry to announce that as of August 1st, 2018, we will no longer be able to offer the Viacom channels currently in the Sierra Television lineup. The existing agreement with Viacom, through Skitter TV, expires on July 31st, and unfortunately, their stringent carriage requirements and steep rate increases made it impossible for Skitter TV to negotiate a workable agreement going forward. As a result, we have been forced to remove the following Viacom channels from our lineup:
CMT – Channel 581
Comedy Central – Channel 501
MTV Channel – 505
Nickelodeon – Channel 401
Paramount Network (formerly Spike TV) – Channel 561
TV Land – Channel 413
VH1 – Channel 583

We will also be removing the following channel due to changes in the Disney/ESPN channel package:
Fusion – Channel 129

We will be adding the following channels to the lineup:
Hallmark Movies and Mysteries – Channel 556 (HD) and 557 (SD)
Hallmark Drama – Channel (558 (HD) and 559 (SD)
WGN America – Channel (565 (SD)
Cowboy Channel – Channel 301 (SD)
ESPNews – Channel 232 (HD) and 233 (SD)
Longhorn Network – Channel 224 (HD) and 225 (SD)
C-SPAN3 – Channel 139 (SD)

Sierra Television is television programming delivered through your Sierra Tel DSL connection. A “set-top device” works as the middle man between your DSL router and your television to allow content to be delivered via your broadband connection to your television.

Now for less money per month we offer LIVE LOCAL CHANNELS, and coming soon SPECIALTY CHANNELS such as High School Sports and Community Events that you can’t view anywhere else! If you only watch local channels – you only have to pay for local channels.

How do I get Sierra Television?
Our television service is delivered through your DSL connection, so a minimum Starter DSL plan is required for Standard Definition TV. Our Bronze, Silver or Gold DSL plan will provide you with an optimal High Definition TV experience, but it is not required.
